"Birchwood" Unisex Messenger Bag

Hello World!Visit product page →We are excited about our second unisex bag! This ultra-cool vertical, ethnic cross-body bag is sturdy and functional, too. We can see it holding your tablet or even one of the smaller laptops. It comes in a quality rough-feel, dark fabric, has a secure zip top, comfortable adjustable strap, lining, zipped inner pocket AND a zipped outer pocket on the back.
The design on the front flap is completely unique: hand-made and hand-dyed Hmong fabric, with two columns of subtle hand-created designs on each side. In true Hmong ethnic fashion, it comes with colored pom-pom style tassels, but you can easily snip these off if you don't want them. You can be sure no one else has anything like this - totally unique, totally you.
The two variations we have are very similar:
Birchwood Red has the hand-made design edge in red (as shown in picture). Birchwood God has the same edge in a subtler yellow (we do not have a picture as yet). Pom-pom tassels vary in color on each bag.
Bag dimensions: 12.2" x 10" x 2" depth. Strap: 58.3" long and 1.2" wide.

Hello World!Visit product page →Our first unisex bag! Just arrived! This is a sturdy, functional messenger bag, large enough to hold an iPad plus a few notebooks for class. The bag comes in basic black and the front of the bag is decorated with subtle cross-stitch and a very special hand-made hemp batik fabric in denim blue.
It has a main top zipper opening, two front zipper pockets, and one front zipper pocket covered by a front flap. Very strong and functional to keep you super-organized, in school or out-and-about. Feeling great, and helping the world.

"Dazzle" Medium Shoulder Bag

It is a medium dark chocolate-brown shoulder bag and has an elaborate purple/pink patch on front, highlighting unique fine-needlework embroidery, hand-stitched by Hmong tribals on superior "ethnic" sack cloth, considered luxurious by them. Zipper to open handbag; bronze-colored rings connect medium-sized handle to purse. Zippered hidden pocket on back, with more functional pockets inside. Each patch is slightly different in design, being handmade, and colors vary slightly too, from pink-ish, to reddish, to purple-ish. Bag is sure to dazzle!
Embroidered patches are designs traditionally found on Hmong skirts, and are used to express the individuality of each lady who wears them. Therefore, they vary somewhat on each purse.

Not only is it beautiful, but it is also crafted to be highly functional, with two zippered pockets outside and one inside. There is one additional flap pocket inside and two outside. That's not all! Not only is it beautiful, but it is also designed to be highly functional with a high-quality zip on top, and zippered pockets inside and out, front, and back. A very sturdy bag, washable: wash inside-out using the hand-wash setting.

Hello World!Visit product page →This bag, called "Simply Sophisticated," is possibly one of our most visually stunning bags. It is made for the self-assured woman. She doesn't need much, and she is satisfied with what she has. This beautiful bag catches the eye even from a hundred feet away.
The purse is black with a chocolate-and-cream cross-stitched band bordered with blue hand-made hemp batik; the cross-stitched piece is sewn on a special fabric (made of hemp) that was hand woven and dyed by the Small Flower Hmong tribals. This is a RARE, almost lost, art.
There are two zippered openings on top (one hidden) and one hidden zippered opening on the back. Inside, the largest compartment features a zippered pocket as well as two open pockets. The bag comes with interchangeable short and long straps. Sure to be a conversation piece every time you carry it.
